26,400bps
I think I am going through withdrawl since our broadband was turned off. This connection speed is maddening! I've tried all I know except reseating the phone connection in my modem but the speed is always 26,400bps. Yes, it's a 56kbps v.90 modem. I'm sleepy and need to shave.

first of all, my condolences on the broadband's departure.
secondly - yep, sent in the absentee ballot in time but doesn't look like it helped too much (sad)
thirdly - yep, i've got lots of north african immigrants in my classes. not sure if they're illegal though...
