Family of Five Making Do
Dear Governor Rendell:
Thank you for your service to our state. I am proud to live and work in PA even though the company I work for is not able to give any raises this year. Many others are being laid off or taking pay cuts. This makes my wife, three kids and I more thankful for the blessings we enjoy.
In this difficult economy we have been able to stick to our budget even though our costs are going up. We refuse to borrow money to buy extra things even though there is little money for fun or vacation.
I am writing to urge you to support a state budget that at a minimum does not increase spending and does not raise any taxes. It is nonsensical and angering to me that the State should not have to make cut backs and live within it's means just like each of it's citizens is doing.
