Mmmm Corn

Hello Friends, Family, Strangers and Gardeners,

I hope as you have found this post you are healthy and happy. I think I can honestly say I am. One of the greatest sources of pleasure in my life is our garden and I don't think the Creator would be displeased with my being such. Tonight for supper we enjoyed the season's first corn on the cob from our own garden! Delicious! Crunchy, juicy, sweet, creamy... Wifey has also begun harvesting green beans, green bell peppers, tomatoes, zinnias and zucchini. The spring broccoli and snow peas are done and on the compost pile. The strawberries were not as plentiful this year but we enjoyed a yummy harvest and were still able to freeze a bunch.

SPECIAL FEATURE | from the heart of a soon-to-be-five year old
Mommy, I love you completely.
Mommy, I never want to lose you.
Mommy, we have happy hearts. When we have happy hearts we're more happy to other people.
Mommy, I love you. I love my brother and everybody else.

I will try to post some photos soon. I'm just putting the web album together but now it is time for bed. Phooey, the bills didn't get paid tonight like I was planning before eating corn from the garden. Oh, Baby Brother turned ONE last week! He's been walking for about a month now. He had a lot of motivation to move faster; move out of the way of his sisters is more like it!
