Still Waiting

It seems the longer we are waiting for the right time (that being the moment when baby and mother are both ready and labor begins) more family, friends and acquaintances think they are being left out of the new born news loop. The Dr's due date actually has a tolerance of +/- two weeks so ask us on August 1 if we're still waiting.

Wifey goes to the Dr this afternoon to see if "things" have progressed since last Monday.

 

If we have another baby I told Wifey we should tell everyone that the due date is two weeks later than the Dr's date. It is funny that people see her at church not carrying an infant, obviously still pregnant and can't resist asking, "Still waiting? Anything happening?" It's not that we aren't thankful that so many people care it just gets a little tiresome answering the same question 10+ times in a row. Maybe Wifey should wear a sign that says, "I am fine. The bulge on my belly is actually a watermelon. The baby fell off." ?
