Short Update
The bountiful harvest from our garden necessitated the purchase of an additional freezer more than doubling our freezer volume to about 38 cu ft. I can take and post a picture of it, but it wouldn't be very interesting.
The sandbox, aka "cat urinal" (thanks DW!) is assembled, installed and half filled with "play sand". There will be a picture of this sometime whether intentionally or not.
"A Night in the Country" was quite fun and Wifey enjoyed being out. This event is basically a one day carnival (no rides) with area churches, school, civic and fire companies selling good food. And there was a "COW FLOP"! This is very red neck entertainment. The object is that you win some money if a dairy cow drops a "patty" on the block with your number. You buy a block for $5 and get a ticket with a number. The cow meanders around a rectangular patch of grass that is marked off with a painted grid. The numbers are arranged randomly on the grid. So, alot (I mean, hundreds) of people stand around waiting for a cow to poop! It was quite funny! I don't think I won, either.
GO NORTHWESTERN LEHIGH TIGERS!
Oh, we spent a few days in Stone Harbor/Cape May, NJ in early August. It was GreenBean's first time seeing the ocean and she and her sister loved the beach! The Martin Fam was all there, too.
The Saturday before vacation I finally replaced the sewage pump that had stopped working in our basement. I am working on a video documentary that I made of myself doing the stinking, filthy job. It would be neat if blooger, blogger, whatever! let me post videos.
What else? I'm hungry and tired so I should go to bed. Let us know who is reading!
Thanks,
The Martins
