PaPa Turns 85 & The Martin's Witness an Auto Accident

Even though GreenBean had a stuffy, runny nose we traveled to Palmyra to visit Papa for his 85th birthday party that my Mom planned. We got pictures of him with all of his, 7 or 8 great grandchildren.
This is GreenBean and I posing for a picture at the top of our steps. I think we were being silly (which hardly ever happens in our house) (ahem).
So, yesterday we were driving East on US "suicide" rt 22, crossing the Lehigh River bridge in the Lehigh Valley and it was raining. All of a sudden this red pick up truck just careens across the highway from the right hand lane and smashes its front left corner into the median going about 55mph. We were all in the car driving in the passing lane about 15-20 yards behind this red truck. Thank the Lord because the truck didn't bounce off the median or start spinning; it just stayed in the median and stopped. WHEW!! My heart about pounded out of my chest! I hit the brakes and swerved into the right lane in order to avoid hitting the truck. Yes, we witnessed the accident and didn't stop to help. FYI you should stop to help if you witness an accident unless stopping would endanger you. We are so thankful for the Lord's protection yesterday.
time for my bed
